Vocation Events

There are a number of opportunities for youth and young adults to spend time learning about God’s love and discovering His plan.

See below for events sponsored by the Office of Vocations and Parishes throughout the Archdiocese. For discernment events for men and women hosted by various religious orders throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis and beyond, click here.

  • Discernment Group Meetings

    These meetings are for young men in high school who are interested in intentionally discerning their vocation more. Each meeting will feature a guest priest speaker and will focus on a particular area of formation.

  • Advent Day of Recollection with Sisters

    This event is for any high school girl who is looking for intentional prayer time with Jesus. The afternoon will include two reflections from religious sisters, a time of adoration and Confessions, and a chance to speak and pray with religious sisters.

  • Priestly Discernment Retreat

    Priestly Discernment Retreat

    This retreat is for college students and young adults who are interested in learning more about seminary formation and desire to discern a potential call to the priesthood. Retreatants will pray with seminarians, listen to talks by seminary formators, and be a part of the seminary fraternity.

  • Come and See Retreat

    This is a weekend Retreat at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary for men in high school. Retreatants will get to experience what life in seminary is like by hearing talks from seminary formators, praying with the college seminarians, and being a part of the seminary fraternity.

    Retreat spaces are limited. If necessary, registration preference will be given to those who are actively discerning their vocation and to those who have not attended a Come and See recently.

    Registration will open on February 14th.

  • Kenrick-Glennon Days 2025

    Kenrick-Glennon Days is an overnight summer camp for grade school & high school boys who are interested in learning how to pray and to discern a possible call to the priesthood. Camp is held at the Kenrick-Glennon Seminary campus located at 5200 Glennon Drive in Shrewsbury, Missouri.
    CAMP ONE: June 9-11, 2025
    6th & 7th Graders (Fall 2025)


    CAMP TWO: June 12-14, 2025
    8th & 9th Graders (Fall 2025)


    All JC’s and Campers sleep on the floor and not in rooms ! Be sure to bring a sleeping bag and pillow.

  • Altar Call

    After a summer of youth events and openness to God’s plan, Altar Call is a “next step” opportunity for High School teens to grow in prayer and discernment.

    July TBD, 2025, 6:30-9:30pm

  • Love's Reply

    Ladies, connect with other single Catholic women ages 18-30 who desire to grow in trust of the Lord’s love and seek to live an abundant life in that love. Love’s Reply is an opportunity to intentionally set aside six months to ask important questions with Jesus and to walk forward toward his calling whatever it might be.

    Program is free-Registration is required!

  • The Summit

    The Summit is a program for middle school students to help them deepen their relationship with Jesus and begin to explore what vocation God is calling them too. Students normally attend in groups with their school. More information is available on the stlyouth.org website.
